I arm both my FX and input to MIDI channel 2 and I get no sound, but if I use the same exact method on MIDI channel 1 I get sound. Is there anywhere within the Reaper program itself where I can mess with velocity that isn't a VST?Īlso, another problem I'm running into is I can't seem to get any sound when I record on anything that isn't on MIDI channel 1. I also tried extra VST plugins like VeloScaler and the JS Velocity Scaler. I tried changing it using the software that comes with the keyboard, but there's only 8 settings and none of them are what I'm looking for.

I use Best Service Engine because it controls a lot of VSTs I use and it has a few spot where I can change my velocity, but it doesn't seem to do anything at all. I'm writing dungeon synth and just want the keys to respond as if I pressed 100% as hard as possible despite how hard I press them.
